Angelina Jolie has replaced Tom Cruise in the new spy thriller ‘Edwin A. Salt’.

The ‘Changeling’ actress will play the role of a CIA officer who is accused of being a Russian spy and dodges being captured by superiors who are convinced she is out to assassinate the president.

The film’s screenwriter, Brian Helgeland, will have to make some adjustments to the script to accommodate for the fact that the main role will now be played by a female and the title will change slightly.

Quoted in The Mail, a source said: “Angelina is determined to make sweeping changes before filming starts.

“She’s demanding the writers improve the dialogue before she sets foot on set.”

OK! is reporting that Angelina Jolie’s womb is no longer open for baby business. Perhaps permanently.

Her last two pregnancies had so many scary complications, she’s been advised to wait a long time before getting pregnant again — or maybe not to do it at all.

“Her previous pregnancies ended with emergency cesarean secions,” an insider tells OK!. “She’s been told that, at the least, she should not get pregnant for a year after her last delivery, and it would be safer if she did not get pregnant, ever.”

Emergency? We thought the last one was pretty much planned out.

Not being a biological mom could prove frustrating for Angelina. Remember she told Vanity Fair last year that she loves being pregnant.

“It makes me feel like a woman,” she said. “Also, I happen to be with someone who finds pregnancy very sexy.”

OK, so buy a nice slinky black dress or some skimpy lingerie. Plan a romantic getaway in the Caribbean. Surely that can make you feel as sexy as being pregnant!

More unnerving than the aforementioned news is the revelation that she is on her way to Ethiopia to adopt yet another baby.

Golden Globe nominated couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie scored another pair of acting nods.

Jolie earned a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role” for Changeling, while Pitt nabbed one for “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role” for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Pitt’s film about aging also earned a nomination for “Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.”

The awards show airs on TNT Jan. 25.

Roll out that red carpet - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie both scored Golden Globe nominations, it was announced Thursday.

Pitt is up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Drama for his role in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, while Jolie scored a nod for her part in the Clint Eastwood drama Changeling.

The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast Jan. 11 from the Beverly Hilton at 8 p.m. on NBC.
